Z2641     Regulation 1826 Pattern Eagle Breasplate (Brass Loops)

Description: Here is a scarce breastplate variant with the harder to find brass loops. The face has a dark olive brown patina and the back retains nearly all of the lead solder. Both loops are present and bent to one side. O'Donnell states nearly all are equipped with standard iron wire attachment loops. This is possibly one of the best examples of this variant I have ever had.
